Welcome to my online portfolio. My name is Ben Smith. I am currently a student at the University of Washington in Seattle. I will be graduating with a BFA in Interaction Design in the Spring of 2012.

MARCH 2011

Winter quarter is officially over. The projects that we produced this last term were intellectually stimulating and technically challenging.

Take a look at the UW Infographic from ART 386: Information Visualizations, taught by Professor Karen Cheng.

Also see the application that myself and 3 others designed in order to bring individuals within a community closer together. We worked on this project for our class ART 385: Design Innovation and Societies, taught by Professor Axel Roesler.

Architecture 482: Web Weaving, taught by Professor Brian Johnson, was also very interesting. We expanded our knowledge on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL and more. To see the product of the class (a personal website) click here.


As the IxDA of UW makes progress in establishing itself in the program, our central website is finished and can now be seen here
